After Caught in a Moment where I’m putting myself out there, seeking love, totally found the girl. And the next stage in the album, it’s like a story, is Nowhere on this Road.

And that’s about the joy of just being with someone, whether it’s driving or just sitting down with them. You’re just happy with that person. And in the song, specifically, it’s about driving.

It was a time I was driving around with someone. We wanted to go somewhere specific, but we couldn’t really find it. And usually I would be very stressed about that like ‘you’re not helping me find where to go’ like it wasn’t like that, though. It was, ‘it’s okay, because I’m with you.’ And it’s such a peaceful idea to be totally content just being with a certain person.

I like how it adds this new dynamic to the album, far from feeling hurt and far from feeling lonely and confused. This song is special to me because there are times when you’re just in love. And it’s as simple as that.
